Thai Racha Thai Restaurants Opens on Telegraph Rd

Thai Racha Thai Restaurants Opens on Telegraph Rd in St. Louis County.

ST. LOUIS, MO (STLPress.News) Thai Racha is a new Thai restaurant that opened late last week on Telegraph Road in south St. Louis County.

It was the previous home of the Great Wall Chinese restaurant that had closed several months ago.  However, Thai Racha has leased the space and remodeled and thoroughly cleaned the facility to enhance the atmosphere.

While the restaurant may have a new name, it is not a new menu.  The owner, Nina Pittman, owns Thai Rama in Crystal City, MO, which has been in business for 10 years or more, serving authentic Thai cuisine to the community.

She is using the same menu, recipes, and great service that customers have become accustomed to.  Therefore, this is basically a second location to an existing successful restaurant.

Additionally, she comes from a family that has significant experience in the restaurant industry.

Her sister is Sasimonthon Ongartsutthikul, who owns five Thai Kitchen locations: Thai Mama in Maryland Heights, Sasi Wholesale, and Sasi Thai Market.

Her brother is Sombut Ongartsutthikul, who owns the Thai Kitchen in Florissant, MO.

The family has a strong commitment to helping each other grow in a country that is not their homeland.  They are Thai migrants who have all relocated to the US for a better life, making it an American success story.
