Drake’s Open’s in O’Fallon featuring Beer, Burgers & Sushi
O’FALLON, MO (STLPress.News) Drake’s opened yesterday, Monday, June 26, 2023. It is an interesting concept I don’t understand, but we tried it anyway. My partner had Sushi, and I ate the Mini Cheese Burgers.
The food is excellent, but they are just burgers. There is only so much you can do or expect from a burger. She liked the Sushi for the price.
The facility is the best feature with open air, but still air-conditioned to make it comfortable. I would not want to pay their electric bill, which raises concerns about the concept’s validity. They have to sell a lot of alcohol to make any money because they can’t survive on burgers alone.
It is designed to do big bar business. It features two large bars that are beautiful.
There appear to be approximately 13 locations, according to their website. We are not sure if this is a chain or a franchise. Our best guess is that it is a chain due to the amount spent on the facility. It is beautiful, but it will have to sell a lot of burgers and alcohol to survive.
